Industrial Electrician (2nd Shift) We're looking for a Industrial Electrician to join our growing 2nd shift team! Job Responsibilities: Industrial Electricians (Maintenance Technicians) are responsible for installation and repair of electrical systems and components of industrial machinery and equipment. Troubleshoot and repair problems on plant facilities and production equipment of advanced electrical, mechanical, hydraulic or pneumatic in nature. Assists in the implementation and improvement of effective preventative maintenance programs for all equipment, performing scheduled maintenance on facilities and production equipment as required. Maintain and update equipment records, schematics, blueprints and files in orderly fashion Obtain and attend training for professional development and to stay current on maintenance and safety requirements and other training as required. Complete all work in accordance with IOSHA, NEC, JIC and IDNR standards and regulations. Complete correspondence, forms and reports using personal computer and required software. Maintain department repair parts stock and inventory. Communicates with maintenance manger and maintenance area/shift leaders, and other plant personnel about maintenance concerns, providing complete action plans and status reports as and when required. Follows and supports Williamsburg's Manufacturing’s and Magna’s operating principles. Works with all shifts in design and development of improving methods and equipment through continuous improvement and lean manufacturing principles. May be required to adjust shifts as necessary. Qualifications: Journeyman license and/or a two year technical degree with at least four year’s prior maintenance electrical experience in a metal stamping or related environment. Prior experience with PLC’s; experience with Robotic Welding and controls. Demonstrated record of successful completion of electrical projects. Ability to work overtime; and a keen desire to be a self starter. Requirements: Ability to demonstrate the knowledge of programming/teaching robots. Ability to demonstrate programming/troubleshooting knowledge of PLCs. Computer proficiency, Microsoft Word, Excel etc. Ability to read, write, analyze, and interpret technical procedures, blueprints, diagrams, schematics, equipment instructions, requirements and business correspondences. Fabrication, mechanical and advanced electrical skills, (National Electrical Code). Ability to obtain and hold a fork truck license.
